Help implement our 2022 Summer Reading Program at the library for children ages toddler-pre-teen. This year our program will include in-person, virtual, self-led, and take-home programming. Work on the summer reading program will be collaborative with library staff, and will include planning and preparing developmentally-appropriate activities for various age groups, recording virtual programs, facilitating in-person programs, and interacting with children about books and reading.
Qualifications include: able to communicate well with children, able to lead and manage group activities, able to work well with others, able to work with basic video editing and graphics software, able to manage planning for multi-week activities.
This is a temporary position for 250 hours in the summer of 2022. The position is a workership funded by the Pratt-Northam Foundation. To be eligible, the person filling the position must be enrolled in a college or university for the Fall 2022 semester.
