Reading Club
Join our summer reading club! Start your summer off with a Reading Kit, log your reading throughout the summer, find some fun treats, and get some Reading Mail!
Registration required (limited availability) for Reading Kits and Reading Mail–register for summer reading, and choose one or both!

Smiling Stories
Tuesdays at 10:30 am
Join us for stories and an activity! Smiling Stories will be held on the lawn or in the community room of the library. All ages welcome, formatted for the younger set.
Fab Lab
Thursdays at 1 pm (8/4 Science Guy program, 2 pm)
Join us for reading and activities exploring the world. All ages welcome, formatted for mid-older elementary.
Craft Café
Every other Friday, 2p-4p (7/8, 7/22, 8/5)
Grown-ups and kids can come together to make a range of crafts (options for each age!). Drop in anytime during the program!
Build Stuff (+ Play Stuff)
Every other Friday, 2p-4p (7/15, 7/29, 8/12)
Drop in to imagine and build with the library’s collection of Legos, straws, Magnatiles, and coding toys (one room) and sensory toys for littles (one room). Something for all ages (including the grownups who come along!).
Kits and Crafts
Pickup and Curbside, available until gone
Pick up a bag of the pieces for a craft or activity!
Storywalk®
June-October, Nature Trail at Lowville DEC
Visit the Lowville DEC Nature Trail to read a story (and do activities!). New story every month!

Come to Lowville DEC for games, crafts, bubbles, and more! Read a new story, and bring a picnic lunch!
Saturday, 7/16, 10a-12p, Tie Dye Walk
Drop in to tie dye with us! Bring your own item or two–t-shirt, socks, bandana, etc–and we’ll have the dye and designs!
Thursday, 8/4, 2 pm, Science Guy

Exciting science demonstration, including experiments, examples of scientific laws, science magic and illusions, and more!
